Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
So I went to a job interview not knowing much about what I would be potentially doing, and came out a new employee. I'll be selling knives \o/. I get payed regardless of whether I sell or not, so I won't be stressed by it, I make as few or as many hours as I want, and it's really layed back. Plus 16.25/meeting+commission (which takes about 45 minutes, commission being 10% at start with an average sale of $250 each time and a max commission of 50%)? I think so.

Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
After my attempt at commissions kinda tanking, someone just hired me to do illustrations for a book and I found that it will pay quite well! Hopefully this week I'll being making a visit to another potential customer to get some shirt logos done for them. On top of the yard work I've been doing, I'll think I'll have a bit of money this summer~

Finally got confirmation that my application to retrain from my current job in the Army to a Civil Affairs Specialist under the Special Operations Command made it to the selection board that was held yesterday!
Unfortunately... now I'm playing the waiting game to find out if I was selected or not

Meanwhile, I finally made it to the Smokey Mountains, and I am THRILLED at how beautiful it is. It's my third time here, and the weather is BEAUTIFUL.

Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
I'm getting a job at a restaurant and I'm nervous as fuck about it. I don't know what it is but ever since this past year I started developing nerve problems and absolutely HATE restaurants. I don't eat much at all because the nerves lead to some sort of eating disorder basically, and if I think about it too much eating the smallest thing in an enclosed environment like a restaurant makes me wanna puke...which I do most of the times after. I'm trying to snap out of that shit with this job. Basically this whole year was me torturing myself to overcome these fucking nerve problems that I started developing last year. I feel like a masochist.

Yeah you probably should stay away from that knife thing if it's Cutco. Had an encounter with them a few weeks ago, I think it's a few pages back.
