Anyone use Avid QuickTime Codecs LE

Just curious if anyone has used this codec before and there input on it:

I was recommended to use this codec recently but haven't heard of anyone using so recommendations would be great!

I know this post is quite old, but I have used this codec for the last amv (it's actually a trailer) I made. The DNxHD codec works pretty well in any NLE able to import MOV files (vegas, premiere, etc) and it's quite fast, faster than lossless avi files, I think.
