Okay, to tell the truth, I'm a little embarrassed that I've been doing this for eight years and yet I still was totally blindsided by all the lip flap comments. (Even got a QC that mentioned it.)

I've forcibly removed lip flap before, in "My Evil Alien", but that was a slow drama video meant to be taken seriously... plus the song could have been interpreted as being from the point of view of one of the characters, so it was important to make it clear there were no lip synch attempts.
With this one, I honestly hadn't given the issue any thought until this thread... but considering that in most of the scenes in question, either the camera or the character is moving every single frame, it probably would have come out looking worse if I'd tried to kill the lip flaps (plus it would have taken a lot longer to edit), or at the very least rather unnatural (like when Squid Girl is whining about having to wait tables or when she's yelling about conquering the world with the big glowing squid background -- you don't really want her mouth not to be moving in scenes like that, do you?).

I'm glad everyone's enjoying it aside from that, though. Kireblue and AceD, I'm totally quoting you on the info page. ^_^ Thanks everyone!

So glad to see this finally come out, it was easily my favorite AMV at Animenext, also it was nice to meet you tho I had to run off alot sooner than I wanted to. Opinions the same as everyone elses on the lip flap and the incredibly awesome lyric sync.

Hey man, I asked nicely. Twice. And gave you a good week and a half.
I was trying to keep this as a simple matter of a common courtesy from one video editor to another. The other two YouTubers I asked nicely about it took their copies down promptly, with no problems.

And by the way, in much the same manner as how I will never upload a video I didn't edit myself, I'm not such a jerk as to claim ownership of a song I didn't compose and produce myself.
