AWA VAT - Creator Spotlight Slots

Hi All,

As most of you might know, this year I'm heading up programming for the VAT. As Such, I've reworked a lot of the traditional slots to bring a lot more variety and diverse programming centered on Video Art (AMVs, Parody, etc).

One of the changes is to provide short slots to creators who will be attending an opportunity to highlight some of their work. Thus there are two blocks of time labeled as "Creator Spotlights" (one on Friday and the other on Saturday) that will be broken down into 15 minute slots. Basically in that time a creator can show a handful of videos and briefly say a few words about them. As such, each creator would have about 12 minutes of time so that we can take a few minutes in between for introductions.

If you’re attending AWA and are interested in highlighting your work, please PM me (or e-mail me at vgp@telusplanet.net) and what timeslot (from the list below) you would be interested in (please list at least there in order of preference). Once I confirm all the time slots by the end of the month, I would give further information on submitting to us the videos you want to show so we can have then tested and all cued up and ready to go.

We will try to accommodate as many as we can, but as we do have a limited amount of slots, the sooner you let me know the better the chances we can accommodate.

Friday Slots:
2:00 – 2:15 pm
2:15 – 2:30 pm
2:30 – 2:45 pm
2:45 – 3:00 pm

Saturday Slots:
11:30 – 11:45 am
11:45 am – 12:00 pm
12:00 – 12:15 pm
12:15 – 12:30 pm
12:30 – 12:45 pm
12:45 – 1:00 pm

Yes, that would be fine... the slot would still remian the same

Not for the spotlight as it's a only a 15 minute slot to give creator's an oportunity to show a few of thier works to the audience.

Free Panalists badges are for those that do a full panels (i.e. min one hour)
