No to be offensive or to poke fun, Code, but you're the only person I've ever seen/heard that gets excited about accounting. I suppose I haven't met many accountants though

Just ordered a lot of awesome new computer parts, my new video is going swimmingly (major kudos to my beta tester for being such a huge help)*, and the new website at work finally launched after I'd been working on it for like FOREVER! Oh yea, and grad classes start next week. Oy. :)

*It's doubtful you'll see this, but you're awesome! <3

I narrowly avoided getting another parking ticket this morning. If I hadn't been late to class, I might not have noticed either.

I'll take that as a sign that I'm in the right field. XD

Actually, forensic accounting IS fun. It's all ninja-style stealthiness through bank statements, checkbooks, deposits and all kinds of other things, trying to look for the fraud and who the "bad guy" is. Then when you find it, it's all "ZOMG THEY'RE EMBEZZLING, LET'S GO KICK THEM IN THE FACE".

But then your teacher gives you a strange look and you quietly slink away. :uhoh:

Just got back from Borders with a bunch of manga and a few CDs - all of it 50% off. The best part? They didn't charge me for three of the Rosario+Vampire volumes; the total should have come to $89.something, but I only got charged $77.85 (before sales tax). Don't know if that was intentional or not. If I'd bought all this stuff at full price it would've been almost $180.

A full list:
Rosario+Vampire Vols.1-6
Rosario+Vampire Season II Vols.1, 2, & 5
Hellsing Vol.7
NGE Gakuen Datenroku/Campus Apocalypse Vols.3 & 4
NGE Shinji Ikari Raising Project Vol.8
The Worst-Case Scenario Almanac: Politics (the sticker price was $1.99 before the 50% discount, and normally would have been $15.95 if going by the barcode on the back of the book)
Depeche Mode - Singles 81>85
Collective Soul - 7even Year Itch
The Best Of INXS
Highest Hopes: The Best Of Nightwish (the most expensive item, it was $15.99 before the discount)

It's just sort of bittersweet, though. I always liked Borders, so at least I bought a bunch of stuff from them again before the end.

Didn't quite finish my video for AWA masters, but I knew it was a longshot anyway. I'd rather do it right than do it crappy. But on the plus side, I have 3 panels this year, a MEP I was in is getting shown, I'm gonna work on Chroma Blitz for a bit, and in a month I get to see a bunch of my friends :awesome: :awesome: :awesome:

I also ordered a new spring guide rod for my CZ Kadet .22 pistol that had broken. It was made of plastic, so I'm getting a new one, taking it to a machinist, and having them make me a stainless steel one to replace it >:O
