Alright guys. I decided I'm going to take the last free track using a very unique combination. I got an idea for it so hopefully my good luck with editing recently will continue with this.

I'll be taking:

4-34 To 5-01: Using Fullmetal Panic & Elemental Gelade

It's ridiculous. Nobody in this MEP even bothered checking the forums today for the new betas that were sent out YESTERDAY. It' deterring the MEP.

EDIT: All of those involved who didn't look at the thread today or yesterday, I'll give you a tl;dr of all the posts till now in proper order.
------------------------------------------------------

TL;DR

1. Kicked Sakuraslight From The MEP.
2. I Sent Out My Newest Full Beta For My Track To Everyone In The MEP For Approval.
3. Inan Turned In A New Beta. I Sent It Around For All Of You To See And Review.
4. CodeZTM Joined The MEP.
5. I Took The Last Spot In The MEP. Meaning We Are Now Full Up.

Get your asses to your inbox's and take a look at the beta's that were sent out. Then post your review here in the thread so everyone can read the criticism. I would like/want a review from everyone involved in the MEP of the current beta's soon. So that I can get on with finishing it and start this next track.

I am trying to meet this October Deadline. I'm dead set on it. Meaning it's all business from here on out. No more play time. I realize some of you have real-life obligations, but I do ask that you set aside any other AMV projects you may have going and give your tracks top priority. The only thing that should come before the finishing of this MEP is Real Life. Other than that, no one should be dilly-dallying around with their parts anymore.

ALL BUSINESS PEOPLE. GET MOVIN!!

Sorry was out yesterday evening then this morning and afternoon so only got around to downloading the betas just there. :uhoh:

TC: The scene at 0:05 might end smoother if you fade it out after her hair stops waving about. I don't think the next 2 black fade outs are necessary either but keep the one after "My world". 0:11 feels weird because his head was still whereas hers kept moving right after, how about using a screenshot instead? Since we already knows what she's doing from the scene afterwards. 0:15 we can see some sparkling in her eyes...not sure if that's intentional or not but it looks kinda strange. Also the zoom at 0:18 just doesn't fit with the flow so I think it's better without that. Your pacing is a little slow too, and I'm not too sure about some of your blurs...they felt a bit strong, maybe just a light blur would do. I definitely think it's nicer than your first beta though.

Inan: I like it so far but the pacing is really slow at times, especially at 0:26-0:28 with the hand. You could either have a scene of Sakura being shocked or something after the hand or give it a little zoom out with a black fade to avoid having it drag. Once the song picks up(0:30 onwards) it still feels a little slow, maybe some more scene cuts might help. And I don't get why you used some of the blurs at the beginning(0:09-0:12 and at 0:18) they just felt out of place since it wasn't really synched to anything unlike the ones where you matched with the zooms/beats. Otherwise it's really good.

Also welcome onboard the MEP Code. :D Looking forward to seeing your beta!

Btw, did you send out the MEP compilation TC? Since I don't see it anywhere in my PM folder.

Oh, and I'm thinking of Bakemongatari for my anime.
Dude. Dude. Dude.

I'm a Pokemon Master, man.

Also, Bakemono \o/

I'll give a full a full review later since Im at school, but TC's track still has some weird chroma issues, and Inan's, while it flows well, is almost entirely OP and ED...there's so much more to CCS to use than that :x

As for my track, I havent decided yet, but you'll have it well before the deadline regardless.

I'm going to hold off on the reviews until I get all of them together with the compilation thingy. I had a few gripes here and there with a few of them, but nothing substantially shattering of the tracks.

Thanks for the input guys. As for the Chroma issues you are experiencing, I didn't use any Chroma in the track at all, which is weird. I think it's my AMVApp. I'm still using the 3.0 Beta so a lot of the new filters and stuff are beyond me which is why you're getting this issue. I can't change my AMVApp because of all the big projects tied to it atm like Heaven's Faith 2. I'll lose everything if I switch it mid project. So there is pretty much nothing I can do about the Chroma issue.

But I'll look over what everyone suggested about the track and then fix them accordingly.

A whole lotta this is going on in your track TC, and its really hard to look past. You might wanna consider asking for help with scripting that out :uhoh:

As for Inan's track, its looking pretty good so far, but I agree with what AimoAio said about the pacing, especially after :30. There isn't much of a distinct shift as there is with the music. You could try adding more scenes to contrast with the pacing that's prior to that point. Also, definitely try to zoom in on Shaoran's hand at :26 or add an overlaying scene just so we're not looking at that one static shot. Other than that, keep up the good work! I'm really liking it :D

What's the AVS script you're using to get it off the DVDs?

First off, I use DVD Decryptor to rip the DVD's.

Well, since I am using the 3.0 Beta AMVApp, I don't have a lot of filters to work with. I've tried a lot fo stuff peopel recommended but apparently it's not supported by the 3.0 Beta.

This is what I am currently using:

Mpeg2Source("C:\Users\Twilight\Desktop\Ripped Footage\Vandread Disc 4\Combined Footage.d2v")
Telecide(1)
Decimate(5)
Tweak(cont=1.1)
Awarpsharp(12)
Deen("a2d",3,7,9)
Crop(8,58,-8,-58)
LanczosResize(848,480)

However, if someone can recommend a better script that works with the 3.0 Beta then I'll change it right away.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

IN OTHER NEWS. I GOT MY BUDDY DIO WORKING ON EPIC CREDITS FOR THE MEP. BETTER THAN WHAT I MADE THAT'S FOR SURE. THERE IS ALSO A NEW VERSION OF EVACUATE THE DANCEFLOOR THAT WE ARE USING FOR IT.

HERE IS THE NEW VERSION OF THE CREDITS SONG:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/kczju8

WAY BETTER AND JUST OVERALL A FRIGGIN BLAST TO LISTEN TOO. CHECK IT OUT AND GIVE YOUR THOUGHTS. SHORTENED FOR TIME BY ME.

TL;DR:

FUCKING GROOVE COVERAGE.
