Food thread!

I'm currently baking pies. At 1am.


Well....they're sort of pies. I'm making mini-pies in my cupcake pans. So instead of one large pie, I'll have a dozen single serving pies. I'm making blackberry, strawberry and apple. King Pwolf will be pleased. I will post pictures later, when the sun comes out. >_>

This was my present for my best friend on her birthday. (Ignore the toothpicks - they were for keeping the foil cover off of the whipped cream. Also, I had a perfect candle and totally forgot to stick it in.)



But of course, I felt bad about giving her something she wouldn't be able to keep, so I got my mom to help me with a little something else...

At first, I thought the second one was a knitted cake lol (I couldn't really see very well, cause the sunlight is right into my monitor)

Btw, I've been making cakes for quite a while and even wanted to open my own bakery, but could never manage the frosting - what you've done looks amazing! Congrats on the cake.
