TritioAFB wrote:EDIT: You´re lucky Hitori, I´m a fan of the serie. Then my impressions you have:

In general I can get what you want to do with my lady, but it´s me of I feel it kinda slow at certain points, at 0:22 you got a glitch in the BG scene, look at the left upper girl.
For the next scene at 0:24 you can play with the scenes of my angel from episode 1, episode 9,and if I don´t have bad memory episode 11. So that you can get an idea of what I mean look at the episode 10, in the moment my angel is singing Fallen Down and it shows a moment where there are flashbacks

Since you´re lip synching at 0:19 I think it´s a moment you should fix cause that was the only moment I felt it was weak though this is up to you
Scenes you should definitely keep are the ones where the band is playing the instruments :shark:
Thanks! Yes, the lip-syncing needs work because it wasn't done. The glitch at 00:22 will be masked out around the mouth area with the correct syncing and tracking.

As for the episodes you listed, I'll scan through the DVDs and pick up the scenes you recommended. :awesome:

I happen to upload a second version with some minor changes near the beginning and mid section. I'll send everyone a link.

Ok man, I´ll post once I see the V2

EDIT: After watching the V2, now it looks easier to do the transitions. Question now is about the scenes at 0:24 until the last scene. I don´t know the lyrics of your part but if they allow you, try showing the relationship between my angel and the gentleman

Hitori: I like it, but if you lip sync too much it will attract people from the beats, so you should so something about it (maybe do something in the background or whatever) cuz it will look too slow :P but it was nice  and at the beginning I'm not sure if my netbook played it correctly, but if you didn't hit the 2 fast beats after each other you should :P

About FadingSundown's track, I don't agree with Tritio and ibabrak, this is a MEP, the parts shouldn't look the same, and I think she said that the beginning and ending of her track will blend with the other parts of the MEP, I liked the effects, and I would like her to keep the effects, and also this is upbeat imo, so effects FIT this kind of songs, it's not necessary to be raw, like in your parts (both of you ibabrak, Tritio) seemed to be quite rawish while you didn't really think of using effects, only a little but stilled stayed with raw, so don't try to convince her to make her part more rawish, because I like and I think everyone should do their parts as they like it, the parts don't have to look the same.

Actually, I'm glad you guys are active now :P if you're this active we'll be able to finish the MEP soon, and I also talkted to -Outlaw-, he'll do his part soon I think, Kyssifur might take a little longer time, because he just moved somewhere else, but he'll actually do it (hopefully), so keep it up guys :3

Minimoto, you don't seem to pay attention too much, I hope you're correcting the things in your part and will send it soon.

I think he was going for lyric sync there. XD Your scene at 0:18 goes on for pretty long, might want to mix it up with some other scenes there. But it's a really nice track so far and since you already said you were working on the lipsync I don't really have any other problems with it just now.

FadingSunDown: My internet's been really slow these few days so 70mb was taking about 2 hours to download but it's faster now so I only just got around to DL'ing it. Might want to encode it with zarx next time ;) 30 mins left and I'll post my opinion on it afterwards. :)

Edit: Wow..I really like it, especially the effects. But I do agree the flashes are a tiny tad strong and the white stroke on your mask near the end is a little too bold. Also I'm not sure if you were lipsynching or if that was lipflap. Otherwise I really enjoyed it :D

If I was lipsynching or not depends on the part xD. The masking and ''I want to run away'' are both lipsynching, if it was lipsynching other than those two parts it was accidentaly :3. I got the flashes out and I changed the white stroke to black, which looks much better :D! I'll have a next beta ready in a few days which will be the full 30 seconds.

Fading: I don't normally comment much about FX for MEP tracks other than really minsicule things that could be fixed. I really like your masking fx and what u did in this track so far. It's good to see ppl experimenting like this, editing diversity is the spice of MEPs. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to work on the mask at the end of the girl to the lyric "hide". The big white border around her, you could feather edge it to blend it a bit more or atleast thin it out some if your unable to get rid of it completely. Everything else looks interesting.

Hitori : (will edit after watching it later today, downloaded but had to head to class before I could write up a decent response.)

Last weekend I tried something involving spot lights instead of the color bars and I couldnt get it to look nice synced to the beat. I'll fiddle around with it some more this weekend. Trying to come up with something else for the ending just incase i come across something that looks better since theres still time. If I can't get the spotlights to look nice and neat with the sync there, I'll prolly keep the color bars since its just my editing style to add motion and colors anyway. Either way my track needs to be done before the end of this month cause I'll be pretty busy with school, family, etc...

I guess I can't argue with your arguments people :) ... I guess I can't be always right in giving feedback, well I still lack enough experience in giving it. :)

Besides, I DID write this

I'm starting to add effects, beat syncing, and flashes now. :awesome:

It's all part of the plan. The lip syncing is there for a reason as well as the lyric/beat syncing. :ying:

Well, I was mostly just gonna say the part where your bass kicks in is really slow and lacks energy, the beat picks up there so the video should too some how. You could add more energy and motion in the background while she's singing if u mask her. I don't really have any other feedback since your already working on that, I like the intro.
