Tritio: the flash was just an idea, I didn't say all the transitions will be flashes, and if you don't have ideas, you don't have to suffer thinking of it, don't overcomplicate it, make it simple, or leave it to me >.< :') and don't worry, I'm only at home at the weekends (and friday) so it's better for me to look at the betas when I'm at home >.<

oh and I might be quite late with a newer beta, because I have something else to work on but there are only about 2 weeks left so I'll try not to be late so much >.<

I really liked what you did at the end (that flashy effect for the beats it was kind of disturbing but it really spiced it up). Basically, I have no thing to point out, therefore I approve it in my eyes as final.

That was something I was messing with in the Alpha video. It has since been removed in the full Beta.

and I agree with AimoAio, the scene at 0:20 is too long, and I think you should reduce that white shiny thing, cuz it was a bit too strong

I was going for the build up because the song from the beginning and middle were slow. Then the middle to end started packing some energy. Maybe the flashy effect slowly fades in? I'll trim down the lip syncing part. Add more of the band playing in the beginning part.

and at 0:13 wouldn't it be better to use a fade instead of hardcut? I don't know if it will look nicer, but you should try it maybe otherwise it's a really good track, I like it

So a fade in of them touching hands? I'll PM another beta later tonight.

Edit: and also Hitori, the scene at about 0:27 doesn't fit as much as the other scenes, they are kind of serious and sad, and then you put there a scene with the guy being surrounded by boobs or something >.<

hahahahah xD but this anime is supposed to be like that. Besides I´m a man so I don´t have a problem with the last scene

It is actually a little clip(one of the outros) of them being chibi and she's bumping her head against his into a the wall. I could add more boobs in the beginning to compliment track 9.

Hitori, bro congrats. You did what I was exactly thinking when I mentioned the scenes of all those episodes. While I liked the way you hit the beats, until certain points it started to be disturbing, but anyway, I approve it.

Hitori: I like your part :3! I agree with Mystyk, but I also want to add a few really small things. At 00:03 the clips where you zoom in at could use less glow. The part at 00:05 when she comes out of that thing (a warp or something? I dont know the anime xD) might look a bit better with a little more brighness/contrast.

At 00:03, that was all in the original clip including the zoom out. It was one of those "magical" moments between the two of them. At 00:05, I don't want to lose too much detail when adding some brightness/contrast to it. It'll either wash it out or blow out the highlights. I can only go up to about +10 of +100 for brightness & contrast before it starts making it look bad.

Dont forget to add some extra second(s) of footage in the beginning and the end of your part for transition !

How can I do that? There is no audio? I was under the impression that the couple seconds into the song and before the song needed to have regular clips and no flashy effects/transitions.


Edit: I did a quick edit with the changes suggested and sent another PM. What do you guys think of the new Beta 3?

I wasn't sure if MystykAMV saw the Alpha and commented or the Beta. Because the only black & white noisy effect I knew of was the paint brush overlay at 00:02-00:04 in one of the Alpha videos. Time codes also help to narrow down what everyone is talking about and which version. The very beginning had the screen glitch look to it but it was only black & white for 1 frame. The image was the next frame. On my timeline, it was timecode 00:00:00:10 (frame 10).

I'll just edit those frames out then!

Since Mystyk said that not all the parts should look the same, comparing Hitori´s part to the rest, I don´t find something that could disturb now. EVen when my angels is singing, I don´t think it could affect that much, but you´ll have to wait until she comments

Hitori: well the same thing as ibabrak showed on the picture, and as for a fade I mean the scene where it shows the girl and after that the boy (and not the hand scene) so it's before the hand scene, and could you do something with the beat syncing at 0:16 cuz I dunno, there so many of that sound there but it's not that necessary if you don't want to, the scene at 0:20 (with hte lip syncing) is much better, it's finally not that long, you can leave it like that now but there are still too many of the flashes, we don't wantg to cause seizure maybe try to find other ways to hit the beat? >.< I'm sorry to make you work on your part so much xD but I'm glad you actually correct these things or change :3 8D it will be very awesome *.* it is awesome now xD

Oh, ok! I'll change the hand scene back and do a fade between the two of them instead!

I don't think the flashes are too fast to cause seizures, but I'll see what I can do for that. Maybe I can tone down how bright it flashes? I already did that with the bouncing overlay. Don't want to make it look similar to other parts of the project.

Well, that's what I do when I'm working on a MEP. I can take critiques and change things up as needed/required.

Now... I wish SOAD2 would be released so people can see the awesomeness of Bounce... That was fun to edit! And possibly Cigaro... That was a fun mash up of two tracks I edited together and added my additions and two images someone on the project submitted. Both are NSFW, especially Cigaro.

She did read the rules, and Im pretty sure that she can hit the beats :3. But she left this morning on a trip with her school, she will come back next week. If a replacement for the part shows up then he/she could take the part ofcourse. Though if you cannot find an editor for the part then my sister is available (when she makes her org account)
