And for the first time ever of me coordinating a MEP, NO DRAMA!! NEW RECORD!!

I just preferred the Bakamono track over-all, and since the credits are almost done, there is almost no time for a revised track or at least a track with a new anime source.

Also, I would like progress reports from everybody as soon as possible.

Also, I'll have revised versions of my betas for you guys tomorrow. As stated before, I really like the FMP in my second track, so I will be honest and say that those scenes will probably stay. I will also be replacing a few scenes as well, but I can't promise huge changes. Due to my AMVApp practically butchering all of my footage.

I'll be getting rid of the un-needed zooms in my first track as well, and tightening a couple of transitions and scenes.

I might have to scrap all of my other projects once C2 is released just so I can upgrade my APP. Save all the projects I wanna finish as Huffy or Lagarith and start from whee I left off after the New APP is installed. I think that's the best course. Just tighten up and fix to the best of what I can with what I have edited already on those projects and save them as huffy or lag and back them up to continue later.

Sending a beta tomorrow. I followed Inan's advice but I'm not really sure if it changed the blended frames.
I also changed some of the clips so that they show more of the two together.

Alright guys. I'll be sending you all my Vandread track which is now combined with the next track including transition. Note that the transition used is temporary unless you guys think it's good enough. If not then I will attempt a better transition.

This beta is also to determine whether or not my track is good enough for a final or not. I have fixed some concerns most notably: The zooms. I tried my best with the frame blending but I can't fix it beyond what you see in this beta.

Seeing as how my AMVApp is old as dirt nothing can be done, and I don't feel like re-editing this entire track from scratch with a new App seeing as how by doing this I would have to scrap all of my other projects as well.

One more note on the transition. IT IS A TEMPORARY TRANSITION! By no means think it's a final product. It's just a quick Chroma Key as you can see by pausing right at the transition you will see little black spots. This will be turned into a mask come the actually combining process as to alleviate that problem. It's not a bad Chroma, just needs tweaking. Those black spots were actually white stars but by eliminating the white I would have actually ruined more. So I will be masking it after this has been approved for final.

Well, the second anime was the next track that has already been turned into me as a final by Jade. And was turned in early on towards the beginning of C2 so that track is not what is under review.

And, there isn't much else I can do with my Vandread track. I can't tweak much else. Sorry to say. The synch is the same as it was in the last beta. Just some minor changes that everyone told me to do from the last beta.

I think what's bothering me is the perspective. We start off the song with the perspective from the long haired girl, and it shifts to the male. Since it's a female perspective singer, the male's perspective is a little off. Plus, we're not really hitting the lyric sync very well. It's there, but I'm not feeling "sad" because of it. It's a very emotional song about love/betrayal/cheating, and I just don't think it fits that very well. It's a slower segment, so I think that it needs to focus more on the emotions/flow/scene fitting rather than oversync.

To be completely honest, I don't feel like Vandred matches the track's audio very well. Plus, the footage quality is still in need of some work. Like you said with my pokemon track [and the reason why I left it], we're working towards a high quality piece, and Vandred is a little dated and has a lot of filtering issues. I'd almost suggest looking for a torrent of the show to get some HD/Blu Ray footage if you're really committed to Vandred. You might consider working on an alternative track with it and see if it works any better. I personally think that the new Macross anime would work really great with the footage [from the perspective of either female singer and the male pilot as the male], and I know that you have/own that, and it looks much more modern/decent when compared.

I do feel that the synch could be better. It seems you know Vandread well so I'm sure you could do somethng. There are some pervy seens in there and I'm sure the "Cheated on me from Behind," Could be matched better.

Alright Code. I'll see what I can do. But note, that whatever source I use will have blended frames. The APP causes it, and is not the fault of my footage. So just note that and I'll get working on another piece. Didn't wanna have to work on something new this late towards the end of the month. Which is why THIS EXACT FEEDBACK could have been said oh let's say towards the beginning of the month and NOT at the fricking 21st. Haha. To top it off, I should be receiving the credits today too, which I should tell you took them almost a month to make.

I really don't wanna have to edit something completely new, so I'll tweak this the best I can. I told you guys from the get go not to expect huge changes.

It shifts to the guys view cause he is with the "other" girl and the singer a.k.a. Dita is acting more as a narrator to what is going on. That is how I was viewing and editing it as. The video has everything the track is about. So besides the blended frames I don't see what the issue is.

I want to avoid re-editing an entire track this late into the month. So, I need something else to go on besides " A new source might be better" Not an option this late in the game. If you think I should have used a newer source for this track, then it should have been said at the beginning of the month or way earlier on. But no one said a damned thing.

Which is leaving me quite irritated ATM. Emphasis on "Quite"

So besides a source switch, what scenes need to go the most or wait......lemme guess.......scrap it and start over using Vandread?
