I should be done with my track revision today/tomorrow, so Ill send out a beta sometime soon.
Here is an example, Code:

Since I am using 3.0 Beta and have certain scripts tied to certain projects, installing a NEW AMVApp also installs new filters and code's and such and deletes or no longer uses [And apparently mine is extremely out of date] some of which my App uses and thus deletes them from the registry/folder/or wherever the hell it deletes them from, making my scripts inoperable and all the editing work I have done for nothing since it practically deletes your entire project or projects.

Applying a new script to the project with the New AMVApp won't work. You would have to re-rip all the footage and re-filter it with the new APP, then start your project all the way back at the very beginning.

Which is why when you start an installation of a new AMVApp, the APP warns you never to install a new version in the middle of a AMV Project.
Technically, if you want to keep all your old filters, you simply need to copy your avisynth plugins folder to a backup source(USB, External) and then recopy everything back in once the installation is complete. I don't really use the AMVapp not unless you count Zarx and VirtualDub which I actually downloaded separately along with my codecs and filters so I don't really get how it would affect your footage/scripts providing you converted them to lossless.

Can you send me a copy of what your .avs script looks like for your footage? I'm not a pro but I could probably help you out a little although you should be fine with updating it as long as you copy everything you're using just now and then recopying them back later.

Anyway about your beta:
Spoiler :
If you're not changing source then take a look at 0:15, I can still see the flickering in her eye which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to be there. Also change your zoom slightly at 0:18 so when you zoom in the first scene, it doesn't zoom back out in the 2nd scene afterwards because it looks weird. And I still don't see the point in the blurs afterwards since I thought you were going for lyric sync and not beat sync because if you were going for beat sync, you missed quite a lot of beats. If there's HD/Blu-rays for your source, I would HIGHLY recommend using them because it really makes a huge difference for the viewer.
Code's beta:
Spoiler :
Superb. I don't have changes for you because it's perfect. The 2nd transition also looks a little neater but if you pause right at the mask, you can see a little edgey-feathering, perhaps just soften that up a bit more.

Ok, so I got a nice big look at the full thing. [Thanks TC!]

I think that "every time we touch" and "what do you want from me be" might better off getting split up into two parts, similar to how Hagaren and I did our track.

Because when compared to the other tracks, they are extremely long to have that one anime on the screen, and there seems to be a really big difference between the song tempos in the first/second halves, and could complement/transition into each other nicely. I also say this especially since both of those are still in beta, I think they could both get partners, make it easier on each other, and let them focus more on the part that they wanted. But if they wanted to do the whole thing, then who am I to deny them? If either of you would like to do this, I'd be happy to volunteer my editing services [especially since I appear to be done with my other track].

iCardoid: For your Chobits track, I think the first half should be synced more to the beat of the song/lyrics, and then use the slower part of the song to do the more emotional sync. The first part is the part I'd suggest outsourcing or using a different anime personally. But your second half is well on its way. Just a little more scene varity and movement, and I think it would be really awesome. :)

Inan: I really like the first half of your track. IT works well, and just some minor transions to and from the OP/ED parts into the movie parts would really make for a great track. The second half doesn't mesh well with me, mostly because I don't think CCS has the ability to keep pace with such a faster part of that song. It needs a lot more action. This is the half I think you might be better off outsourcing or utilizing a different anime combo.

And again, these are just my suggestions. If I'm overstepping boundaries, or I'm being too critical just kick me in the shin and tell me to shut up. XD

~Cheers guys.

Sure thing, check your pm box. Just don't judge it too harshly, since I TC just threw it together with all the betas he had lying around for me. No transitions, low quality for low filesize and no audio equalization. ;)

OK. I'll give a look at my Vandread part again and do something with what you guys suggested.

But as stated, it's kinda late for new sources since the credits are practically on the way to me now. I think just tightening up the tracks to the best of your abilities with the help from the other editors will make the tracks awesome.

So work hard and do an awesome job for the October 1st/2nd release :)

Just watched the full thing and I agree with Code on this. I know we get an anime switch every time the song changes but the 2 halves of each of these 2 songs have really different tempos, it's almost like a song change itself. Having a different anime in there would fit nicely and probably be the ideal thing to do here. Plus it would probably give the editor in charge of the track to spend more time refining their own part.

Anyway the MEP compiled itself is hot stuff. :awesome: I can't wait to see it finished! :asd:
