Spent nearly 3 hours this morning attempting to find a way of getting the total duration of a group of video files that doesn't involve opening up a spreadsheet and can be executed from the command line. Finally managed to do it (and that feels quite good, actually), but it took way, way longer than it should have and has probably completely thrown off the workflow I originally needed it for. Oh well, it'll come in handy later. The frustration part kind of belongs in the Vent thread, but whatever.

All setup. Just formatting a new 2gb drive so I can copy everything from the 1tb from my old computer and then format that one. In total I'll have an i7 950 with 12gb of ram and 3tb of hdd space (not including the 64gb SSD that windows is running off).

Weird, My school makes me take certain classes over if I get less then a C. Mo Graph classes are usually in there.

Just got back from the zoo, the otters were sooo cute. They came up to the window, one was standing on his hind legs, then they slid down their waterfall/slide and into the water below and did backflips. Most of the animals responded to humans, and we got some good pictures. It was enjoyable. The only down side is that I have a headache now.

Today, despite being dead tired and having a slight headache, cause after waiting for 3 hours at the doctors to be admitted (though I had a scheduled appointment) and spent 5 minutes in there, being told all my tests came back ok, I had to go home and clean for 2 hours, then write an article and finish a present.... But yeah, despite those things, I am loving this day - the sun is shining, I have nice coffee and nice music, have dinner plans - what else could a person want? Plus, next week I am travelling to Paris on vacation, so it's all good.
