[AWA Masters] Redline - Speed Master

Post by JCD » Tue Oct 04, 2011 9:06 am

My AWA Masters entry. Didn't win, but got shown and got a decent response, which makes me happy enough :)

Sorry for the huge filesize, can't get it any smaller without looking bad. No Local download for now for the same reason until the large file request gets or gets not approved. EDIT: Large file approved, Local download now available!
If you can't bother to download for now, check it out here:
Streaming version on Vimeo

Enjoy!

Video was awesome, really enjoyed seeing this at AWA! There were so many good videos in Masters! Really love the music and anime combination you chose.

WIN

This is pretty much classic JCD goodness that I thought it would be... and it was. Good to see it released :)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Awesome video like i told you already.

Glad to see the org finally does recognize that the best visual quality goes together with a larger filesize.

This was epic. It was one of the videos while watching that I was thinking to myself "This might be the winner" during the Master's Showing.

That was some very sexy sync
No complaints here :3 Just joy that you're editing and you're making amazing stuff.

I gotta say this was pretty wicked!
I just need a computer that will play it smoothly.

Set in mind since 2007. When the trailers for Redline came out it, to me it almost felt like the Anime got made to be used with this song.

Seems like my AMVs to move have left the largest impression on people so far...

Heh, unfortunately I already knew that they usually play the winner last. So when I saw it there I pretty much knew it didn't win, but still glad it got shown!

I try to do at least two videos per year, by some measures that's pretty active I guess :O Glad you're enjoying them.

Sorry about that. I will propably continue to use Framerates >30 for fast videos. Makes everything still stay crisp when speeding up.
As I like to have them on my phone I will always encode and upload a downscaled version though. Said phone has an 800 Mhz processor, if someone can't play that version back smoothly, then their computer must be really ancient :P
