Let's Roll (for Justin)
I put this together as a tribute to my friend and fellow AMV editor, Justin "Roll the Stampede" Rollins who passed away last year after bravely fighting cancer.
During one of our last conversations, Roll pestered me to make another Ghibli AMV. I usually make sweet/sappy/upbeat videos with Ghibli sources, but after Justin's passing, I thought I would change my approach a little bit.

Awesome mood vid jubberz, the first victorious chorus gives me the chills with how well the scene choice and sync was. Pretty empowering vidya, I whole heartedly approve~
Mah spirit was kinda down today due to some events but this totally lifted it.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

His passing was a great loss and a shock. I had gotten a QC from him, like a week before he passed.

Oooooo, is this a new style for Jubby?? I don't think I remember such serious intensity in your work. Maybe I've been out of the AMV scene for too long. Very nice video and entertaining, action bits all the way.

Thanks, Josh! That scene is what held interest in the project together for me, and got me to finish. It's one of my favorite bits.EvaFan wrote:Awesome mood vid jubberz, the first victorious chorus gives me the chills with how well the scene choice and sync was. High praise! Thanks, Judge. Yeah, I can't believe it's been a year already. I miss the big guy.JudgeHolden wrote:

I've got something silly and upbeat in the works. Just trying my action hat on for a little bit. Thanks, sir!Ayanefan wrote:Oooooo, is this a new style for Jubby?? I love your fun and upbeat works but that was serious-ly really good too.
