For the most part, I liked this beta. But from about 0:05 - 0:09 it felt too slow, When the singing actually starts, I think it looks good, but putting old InuYasha together with Yogurting don't really work well together style-wise.

Mm the fact that the Inuyasha bit sticks out so much when it is just 3 seconds long is plenty reason to take it out entirely. And you've gotta ask yourself is it really worth fighting for a source that only lasts 3 seconds anyway? I do really like the Yogurting parts of your track though, that's working really well with the song.
TwilightChrono wrote:Also, do you gusy rmeember the EF track from the second CascadaThon? How it originally looked when Riccardacasu turned it in? It looked like it had all the kinds of grungy technoee overlay effects throughout the vid. I want to implement those into my track here except I don't even know how to make those. I have a few ideas to do with it and feel it would mesh a lot of the animation styles together. But I need to know how to do it. I don't really know what the name of the effect is either.
I'm pretty sure you can achieve that by just getting stock effects and overlaying it over your footage and just mess with the blending until you get the look you're going for. You can also find a bunch of grungy textures and overlay those as well. If you have After Effects you can tweak the fractal noise, up the contrast, and blend that over your footage too. I'm not sure what your editing software is, so I can't say if there's an actual grunge effect that'll do the work for you, but those are some options.

Honestly, when everyone in the project is saying it looks out of place, it probably is. And like AllyKat said, since it's ESPECIALLY an insignificant amount of time, this should definitely not be an issue.

Alright. Well, I've sped it up. If you guys still don't think it still looks out of place after the speed up, I'll take it out and replace it. That's not a problem. I just want to give it as much of a chance as possible, you know?

I'm glad for the most part you guys are digging it though aside from the Inuyasha bit. I'll be putting up a new beta sometime tomorrow so be sure to check your inbox's some.

Right now, I'm playing Beer pong with my sister that I haven't seen in a year. I love her a lot and like to spend as much time with her as much as I possibly can especially since I don't g3et to see her that much.

I'm a little drunk at the moment so forgive any spelling errors you may see.

Anyway, off to the 3rd round and I'll talk to you when I wake up.

Later Friends.

EDIT: I've also updated the OP with the change in some of my anime line-up that is being used in my track. Here is an updated list of what is in my track now:

Pumpkin Scissors, Yogurting, When They Cry, Shattered Angels, Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt, Carnival Phantasm, Inuyasha, Yoko Box, K-ON!, Halo

Alright, I am sending you guys a new beta. A lot of scene improvements and it's a little longer. Don't worry. I'll be adding more to the bit at the end to keep the pace going, so you won't have to worry about that bit. Check your inbox's shortly. And the reason why the last clip is so long in comparison to everything else, is because part o f it is getting used for a transition. So, don't worry. THat clip will actually be cut down in size.

Sending out the beta now. Check your Inbox's.

Nice improvement.

to keep with the lighthearted dance bits though, I'd ditch Kagome and her arrow bra removal, the halo dude and go for a more dancy feeling. :18-20 is also weird since it' s a really big difference in movement. Yeah, it hits the lyric sync, but it's not all that matchy with the rest of it.

Take from that what you will.

once I finish groove coverage, WAFV and Gaga, then I'll get to work. I'm also waiting on my footage to finish up. I'm going for highest quality I can offer.

I'm gonna have to agree with the Kagome arrow shooting part as well. The reason being is because everyone else in the clips are moving and she's just kinda standing still, so it looks out of place, you know?

Also, in case you didn't see my previous post:
