I dun get the 60fps thing either but the quality is awesome! Also the flow is gorgeous. It does get a little repetitive though but that's not really a major issue. Nice one Drew!

Like I've said before, my only real complaint is the AR of the CCS footage. Other than that, it was really pretty. :3

Personally I thought the sources didn't blend all too well, along with technical issues such as Aspect Ratio's being bent and warping in the 60fps version, the cuts and transitions could have used some real touching-ups.
I thought you sort of got the mood down to an extent. The scene selection worked according to lyrics, but the sources that were mixed somehow felt a bit off. I enjoyed the color blending, but I don't understand the sudden involvement of orange colors in the otherwise blue video.
It's not that it bad, I just think that it could have used some real touching-up and then made a rather fine video.
Too bad you didn't make the finals, good luck another time man - and don't let my critic strike you down, you can either take it to heart or just ignore it.
It's just my 2 cents anyway

yeah it takes awhile for 60fps, not perfect, but I like it.Cross/fade wrote:So many anime ~~
I like the smoothness. I really need to try making 60 fps vid. one day just for the heck of it.
It's good. There are a lot of AMVs like this one but still that doesn't change the fact I enjoyed it from beginning till the end.
Thanks again :3AimoAio wrote:I dun get the 60fps thing either but the quality is awesome! Also the flow is gorgeous. It does get a little repetitive though but that's not really a major issue. Nice one Drew!
I will never use that CCS clip I have ever again. xD Thanks susie.Chiiisus wrote:Like I've said before, my only real complaint is the AR of the CCS footage. Other than that, it was really pretty. :3
Much appreciated man. Thank you for your thoughts. I could have done A LOT of different things to make this video awhile lot better I agree. Eh..I guess this wasn't one of my big videos. Sometimes just can't do my best with my visual ideas. I'm not to bummed about it, I'll try harder next year. Going to finally do a romance/Drama next year for akross. Thats my strong point :3Magnus wrote:Personally I thought the sources didn't blend all too well, along with technical issues such as Aspect Ratio's being bent and warping in the 60fps version, the cuts and transitions could have used some real touching-ups.

Re: [EBullientDesigns] - Taking The Moment
I dug it for the most part overall.
I left some more detailed stuff over at Akross which was the general blah blah blah about maybe shortening/cutting the song a bit, but I thought it had a very enjoyable cathartic feel to it throughout the vid. Some people complained that it felt random, but they just need to let go and feel the music with the visuals rather than trying to interpret some greater meaning, this is one of those videos that just seems more about emotions than anything and I think you captured that very well, but in the end to each their own.

It's so pity, that your amv didn't become finalist at Akross. I vote for, but... we have what we have. Any way, as I told on Akross here is the best Dance amv for me . Good luck in a future!

Your comment made me smile, thanks a lot really xD I seen that comment on akross website, didn't know that was you. Menas a lot. I'll try harder next year for sure. :3 Thanks!VovanKoperativ wrote:It's so pity, that your amv didn't become finalist at Akross. I vote for, but... we have what we have. Thank you! I wish more people realize that. What you just said made a lot of scene and it's true! Of course this video is random, but didn't think it was THAT random. As I was focusing on emotions and matching the lyrics up in a way that I visualize it. I agree about the length of the video, next year for sure I'm going to enter a romance video. Scene drama/romance is my strong points. Thanks alot for the comment shin, means alot.Shin-AMV wrote: I dug it for the most part overall.
