I know how that feels... Well... No, I don't, 'cause I don't edit. But if I did edit and that happened to me I'd know. Skin finally peeling off from my recent sunburn. I peeled a little too much and i ended up bleeding.

It really is. It's worth spending a little extra upfront for the redundancy. Since I've moved to raid 2 years ago or so, I've lost 3 hard drives but no data and didn't have to pay a penny for replacements (warrantyThe_TEKnician wrote:RAID...google it. You know, you could also be like me and get a SSD for your comp and store everything important on externals.

SSDs are nice but it's still cheaper per gb to do a simple raid (even considering recent hard drive price hikes).

I'd never had a HD die on me (cept once... but that didn't count cuz... I wasn't using it, my dog just found it lying around and killed it). Not a vent just... well yeah it is. Karma's building up like a Bitch and I'm kinda' scared.
I do in fact have an HD just waiting to be raided I bought like a year ago... I just have to zap windows so I can install it!
