everytime i eat one (or 2) I always feel like I can die happy on the spot.

I don't have any fanceh pictures, but I spent most of yesterday and part of today baking 5 varieties of cookies (sugar, snickerdoodle, spritz, gingersnap, chocolate chip) and some lemon bars.
192 cookies overall, split into 24 separate containers and then distributed to various familial relations. (well...I'll be distributing them over Christmas and the day after tomorrow Christmas)

I shall attempt to make baklava on Tuesday. I Just need to get my hands on some rose water first...

I just made some of these:




They are double* chocolate chip banana cupcakes with strawberry and chocolate frosting swirled on top. I'm proud of how the piping turned out, it was tricky and not something I've tried before. Later, I put mini edible pearls on them.

*Double meaning it's chocolate cake AND it has chocolate chips





I can't decide if I like them better with or without the pearls, they look nice both ways. Though this makes me wonder if I should try to make a Neapolitan swirl, I bet that would be tasty. :O
