Yep, I 100% agree with the judges on this, Vlad. You established and awesomely executed a great concept. You also get my own personal award for "AMV whose song is still stuck in my head 24 hours after the masquerade." Congratulations to all the other winners for a job well done, and to the other finalists who helped put on a really good show this year!! It's one of the few times I've been at AB and felt the contest was very well balanced, with the majority of the videos pulling their own weight and giving me more than one clear-cut choice when it came time to vote. BIG thanks to Adam and Lantis for coordinating the 10-year retrospective of the decade's winners, I loved seeing all the videos which have made AB such a fantastic experience over the years on screen again.

It was great to meet so many more people this year, too, at the various AMV events - it made this year pretty special. ^_^

Last night, mentioned to both Bashar and Lantis that it was almost impossible to choose which AMVs to vote for this year. Such AMAZING quality! AMVs that didn't win the "normal" categories won things like Best Concept, Editors' Choice, Judges' Choice, etc.; so very glad they were recognized. BTW, what's the difference between Editors' Choice and Judges' Choice? Meant to ask that.

Maybe Håll Om Mig Nu can bounce Rasputin out of my head...

Judges' Choice is decided before the convention (and after the finalist selection) by the same panel of technical judges that decide Best Concept and Best Editing. Editors' choice is decided by the finalist editors in attendance at the con.
