Madness Quota + Bonus vid
Uploading - as is tradition for me this time of year, with no artwork to grace the page nor any credits to befoul the file. I am one lazy bastard.
First video started out as Action, but morphed into Drama as I went along. I really like the number of genuinely flawed protagonists in Soul Eater, so I structured this as series of parallel narratives on that vein.
The second video also uses Soul Eater. I recommend that nobody watch this. I am including it as it technically got in to Anime Boston's 2012 contest. I agreed to not have it shown. This reverse-hype ballooned until I had people begging to see it all weekend. Steady your hearts if'n you dare click the button.
*Full Disclosure - I have never watched the video from beginning to end. It was made using AE expressions to tie sound data to visual data.

I was going to say something meaningful and constructive after watching madness quota, but then decided to rewatch hhnnnnggg first and my brain exploded.

Re: Madness Quota + Bonus vid
hehehe, nothing like showing an AMV at a panel and then being told very seriously that you need to shut that off. I will not be watching that again, even a bit, thank you very much.
I liked the way Madness Quota turned out, and hey, it got me to give Soul Eater another chance because of the characters you focused on, so nice job there. Someday soon I need to try out that rotobrush in CS5! Still think the ending should have been backed up to an earlier point, but I do prefer the current ending to the earlier versions which had it lingering longer.

I'm kinda shocked at how many people have subjected themselves to it voluntarily already. We have some masochists around here.Shin-AMV wrote:I was going to say something meaningful and constructive after watching madness quota, but then decided to rewatch hhnnnnggg first and my brain exploded.
Glad to hear you liked the real release. And, yea, I enjoy where it ends now... the lingering bits I had before were garbage.DriftRoot wrote:hehehe, nothing like showing an AMV at a panel and then being told very seriously that you need to shut that off. hhnnnnggg was very moving. It's been a long time since I've seen an amv that told a story that nuanced and complex.
...but seriously, I actually watched the whole thing. I feel like somewhere Hideaki Anno is jealous and he doesn't know why.
