Once again Canada's longest running Anime Event, Animethon, is accepting entries to it's AMV Contest!
All the Official Rules and Signup form can be found here:

Please read the General Rules to ensure there are no issues with your entries
Deadline for All Submissions is July 6, 2012 so you still got plenty of time!
The Contest is open to everyone anywhere as we will ship trophies and prizes to anywhere in the world that the postal service will deliver to.
We will be showing the finalists in Main events and as with years past, we will show all accepted entries on Sunday in one of our larger video rooms.

I've been planning something for this for a couple months now...glad to know the deadline is a while off, since the anime I wanna use is still in-progress, need some Gen 3 AGE footage yet.

well guess i'll have to try to get something together with Anime XD - i been Editing Ponies as of late... and that as far as i know isn't "60% anime" - hopefully i can get some kind of idea or 2 to submit something

i saw something like this in the beginning of the year when i signed up of some sort of amv contest telling who won i thought it would be so cool to enter something like a online amv contest i want to enter one of these but sadly i don't know much of how they work is it completely online where do you send video do you add it as new video on you a-m-v.org account when the contest is happening because i can do that make a video send it ect ect. but all these contest's that are posted on here are sounding like conventions that you may or may not have to go to cause then im out i don't have the money to travel please help and let me know whats what because i may be new at this amv thing started almost a year ago but im very good at what i do
