Legend of Dragoon! My precious, where have you been? Can't believe it's like 6-7 bucks on PSN.

Re: What are you playing?
I have a love/hate relationship with Legend of Dragoon. I loved the battle system, and I liked the story... but the dialogue was so fractal and odd that I couldn't immerse myself in it. I laughed out loud at so many of the weird phrasings that I couldn't take it seriously.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I tend to redo alot of the dialogue in my head as I'm reading it.

He cut my head off. Did you see that? He cut my head off.
Replaying Pokémon Gold on my Dreamcast again, since I finally managed to tweak some of the things broken or missing in the last revision (but not without introducing other, really annoying bugs :/).

Re: What are you playing?
Fable 3.
Played Fable 1 and hated it, but this one seems pretty good. I like the story/idea, but hate some of the execution.
The thing about renting homes is that it is a VERY broken way to get income. I left my game on during the night and amassed quite a fortune this morning. Gonna buy more when I get home from class, then rinse/repeat.
I also don't like how EVERY STINKING CITIZEN has to have a "quest" in order to gain their friendship/support. Saving their damn town should count for all of their support. >:|
The action commands with interaction (dancing/chickens/whistling/ect) irritates me to no end and makes me want to violently punch Peter Molynuex for ever thinking that was a good idea. NOT FUNNY. >:|
I love the combat though. Dualcasting feels great, and I love gunning stuff down.
Although the game is making me want to play it more and get through it (AKA: get the achievements), and that's more than I can say for most video games these days.
(By the way, I would love some recommendations on good Xbox360 games. )

Re: What are you playing?
You have to keep the game on to get money in Fable 3? In 2 it just worked off of system clock time. You got money every X minutes based on the internal clock on the 360, whether you were playing or not.
From that you could turn the game off, change the system time to be 10+ years in the future, and have tons of cash... can see why they may have changed it.
