Re: Round 2 - The Secret of the Cards
If people start making CCS videos and put the anime down as 'Cardcaptors' I'm just going to dig a hole, crawl into it and curl up into a little ball. T____T
Totally saw this theme coming, though I'm not sure if I like it even though CCS is my favourite anime.

Re: Round 2 - The Secret of the Cards
Whoa I was afraid of this...
Being a CSS fan, here's a little treat that maybe can be helpful to some. If it is... the only thing you need to know is that I love chocolate
http://www.mediafire.com/?nw9jatggsq1tj6w
For the ones that don't know, the orange ones are the original Clow cards and the pink ones were transformed by Sakura (the new owner) into Sakura Cards. I got these cards a long time ago, so maybe there's already a better version somewhere... still I hope it's helpful to someone! This is just to inspire everyone but if you decide to use them, you should clean the website thingy at the top lol.

Re: Round 2 - The Secret of the Cards
Just to clarify, we "create" the effect of the card, right?
So.. taking the card you mentioned, The Loop, on that episode, they're on a school competition and running in circles. But a loop can be interpreted like for example reviving the same thing over and over again. Is the intention to create the exact same effect it had on the series or one of our own? (I'm not going to use Loop, though, and I know I just throw out an idea out there lol, but it's just an example).
Also, the way we "capture" the card (if we decide to do it) it's up to us, right?
It may seem obvious, but I just really want to clarify that

Re: Round 2 - The Secret of the Cards
Yes, this is correct. The AMV should show what the effects would look like if you used the card.siny wrote:Just to clarify, we "create" the effect of the card, right?
You are free to interpret the card's abilities. Even in the anime, the cards had different purposes. So long as it has a connecting aspect to the card's name/abilities, you should be fine.So.. taking the card you mentioned, The Loop, on that episode, they're on a school competition and running in circles. Again, you don't have to literally "use" or "capture" the card, but yes you are free to "use/capture" the card in any way that you like. Also, the way we "capture" the card (if we decide to do it) it's up to us, right?

How does one not have an idea with this theme?Eake4 wrote:Quite difficult, no ideas, no song ideas Good game
It's possibly the easiest theme in the history of anything.
Make an AMV, find a card that matches, then BAM!

Mostly my editing goes from one place to another not stable at all But yeah its not really easy to create something like a mirror effect in AE and make it look good with only a few editing days on the clockpacotacoshell wrote:How does one not have an idea with this theme?Eake4 wrote:Quite difficult, no ideas, no song ideas Good game
