I do remember that rider one year didn't get in until the judges determined to drop some vids due to them not being edited and hers won.

Wired if i remember right has won for the purpose of persacoms, a winney the poo vid with eva (or some disney song therefore) and the rest of the years are kind of a blur.

The whole "not being edited" claims still baffle me. Especially if you consider such a video being nominated for "Best Use of Multiple Anime" and "Video of the Year". Then on top of that making it to the finals for "Best Use of Special Effects", "Most Artistic Video" and "Most Original Video". And ultimately winning "Best Horror Video", all in the 2012 VCA's

Doesn't sound like a no-edit vid to me. A special effect is an edit, etc.

I'd like to see the vid you're speaking of. I know someone who could benefit from the example. We did indeed receive some zero edit vids this year.

Haha I don't doubt it. I'm not bitter about it anymore, I just thought it was funny tho. I know things have obviously changed since then, so it's a non-issue for me at this time.

I'll be looking forward to the finalists.

I still say it should've taken Best Use Special Effects. I mean, I like Fate Matrix, but COME ON! How can someone not just explode all over Eidolon?! D: Obvious winner was obvious for everyone who wasn't eating a shoe...
