Name the Anime Screenshot (READ FIRST POST)

Well if you don't like to post pictures or have nothing at hand you shouldn't feel forced to do so. Opening the thread is specifically allowed by the rules. My concern here is rather that, whereas when one posts a screen themselves they can't then guess it, effectively playing at alternate turns at best, by not having a specific rule about it, guessing again could be exploited in such ways that basically would allow the same person to always guess the screens and then open the thread. I do not think you would go that far, as I believe you are no troll (you naturally waited before guessing with Darkly's screen, for example), however I realized this is a fallacy in the current rules (and it really didn't occur to me before), like the one when people posted multipled guesses at a time, so I believe they should be amended for clarity.

If its fairer for me to post something i will...its not that much of a big deal, and i've got a lot at hand, so that's not an issue :p. Whoever made this thread probably got it from another forum, its a pretty normal game on anime forums and the rules (bar hentai/manga/visual novel options) is almost always the same....i don't think anybody really think abouts trying to exploit it tbh, its just something fun after all.

Well, we've had people trying to exploit the rules (see this, for example, which is pretty much what brought the "no multiple guesses" rule into effect ─ there are other such posts too, if you search for them).
Again, it is completely fine and specifically stated by the rules that one can open the thread if one so wishes, but I thought improving the rules would be better.

Also yes, I am quite aware this kind of game is common. I've seen it on other forums, each with their own rules. In some forums I've seen it has a point system, so one gets to actually "win" a round and then the winner starts the new round thread.
In one community which does this, I saw this rule: when you win, you must post a screenshot, and along with you, the person who posted the screenshot that you guessed cannot guess on that screen. That way allows to have a wider pool of people involved in the game (they also play with points, so they also force people to post the screenshot when they win).
You could say the rules for this game over here are more relaxed, and in the end yes, it is a just for fun thing, so nothing to be serious over, however I thought it would be better to still have clearer and better rules to play by, just for the sake of a letting everybody have fun. After all, part of the fun comes from actually being able to correctly guess the screenshot.

Not posting a big list is common sense though, shouldn't even need a rule really. In general all the forums i use are very limited rules (common sense applies), but manga, VN etc are all allowed....rules that punish people for been good kind of suck (limiting turns for example)....but i understand it might suck if other people don't even get a chance either.

You're the mod though so i guess its up to you what you want to do....i know the one CodeZTM has just posted as well, its from a magical girl anime (hinthint), but i'll skip it and go to bed <.<
