This video, I noticed it sort of has a mild 3D effect and I was wondering if it was caused by a combination of masking and layering.

Also I have noticed that this video seems to have perfect contrast and bight brightening (if that makes sense) and I was wondering how I could accomplish this as every time I try to get this effect it fails (with sony vegas 9).

Re: A question about Effects
Specify time occurance, if xDrew comes thats the best help you can get but for now just specify which time frame you are talking about for each effect you want assistance on

I literally meant most of it. But for example like this bit http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... dvYU#t=47s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUC2T4Nd ... page#t=17s http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... dvYU#t=29sEake4 wrote:Specify time occurance, if xDrew comes thats the best help you can get but for now just specify which time frame you are talking about for each effect you want assistance on
The background seems not to match. I know some animes have this built in but others I have seen edited. I was just wondering if that's how the look is accomplished.

Re: A question about Effects
If you want to achieve that definite look, then Its probably gonna be masking and multiple layer editing. Otherwise Im sure most of the mild 3D effect is from the original anime.
