crosfading/fading and lipflap

Post by zibbazabba905 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:37 pm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzD2J7Sgn0w 1:15 Asides from pre-rendering, is there a way to crossfade or fade scene A to B while masking the lipflap? I know the mask part comes out too bright because its going transparent, is it just a simple matter of putting B _over_ A1/A2 and just fading B in while leaving A?

If you're masking on Clip A:
* Create a new Sequence with only Clip A in it.
* Apply mask to Clip A.
* Put that Sequence in your main sequence where Clip A used to be
* Apply crossfade.
