Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

OK, it's been a week. It's Sunday night, so please leave this up or else I'll keep putting it up. I'd like to let others know about my videos and account because I don't get many views, so I will try again.... I'm sirmichaelvalentine, a new user. I've been doing this AMV thing for almost two years - since the end of 2010. I started like all others on youtube with some username making Beavis & Butthead AMV's. Honestly, the Black Lagoon videos are my first actual AMV's, since Beavis & Butthead isn't an anime and AMV stands for ANIME Music Video. I left youtube because... come on, you know. That site has turned to shit. No offense to anyone, but they block just about everything new. So far anything good on there has been there since '08 or earlier. I'm here to show my org account and what I've been working on lately. I've got 15 videos. I would like to know what people think. Each one is very good*, if you keep in mind that they are tributes to the series. No cross overs except my newest video using NANA and a little bit of Bugs Bunny playing piano to GnR's "November Rain". It came out great*! My videos range from DBZ-metal videos, to School Rumble Slow Truly Madly Deeply videos. There's almost a little bit of everything but rap, country & techno AMV's. Haven't gotten there yet, lol..... And, yes, my posts will give you an eye sore. I can't type any better than this. Forgive me.....thenks for fixing my post im never sure when to put the dots lol.

There, I fixed it... or at least attempted to. @.@sirmichaelvalentine wrote:OK, it's been a week. It's Sunday night, so please leave this up or else I'll keep putting it up. Here's an easy way to link to your video. First, go to that video's information page.
Click the little gray thing pictured above. A new window will pop open, it will look like this:
Select and copy the vidid. Then go to the forums to the thread you're starting (in this case, you've already started the thread, you can edit your first post to add them).
Paste the vidid and add whatever other information you'd like. When you post, the vidid will look like this:
It links to your video, gives information about it, links to a streaming preview and even links to your profile. It's the standard here and very handy.

Yes, and for the future, this forum is only for announcing specific new videos (i.e. videos that you have not announced before), not promoting your work in general. Announcements in this forum should follow the AMV Announcement Etiquette (there is a reason that thread is at the top of the forum and says "please read before posting". Your previous posts here were removed for the same reason.
Ileia provided an awesome explanation there. Please announce your videos correctly - I'll keep this thread around if you plan to put them in the first post, or otherwise it will (again) be locked/removed.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
