I honestly wish that the time at the end of the meet and greet could have been used to socialize with other editors

Sorry I couldn't be there guys, I was stuck with board duties from 5 to midnight. Would have liked to have made it but duty calls and whatnot. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Re: AX 2012 M&G: DINNER @7pmTHURS - PANEL @11amFRI
Noted. There are several elements of the meet & greet i was not satisfied with, some are due to my choices of how i decided to run it and others that were out of my control. i tried to keep it interesting but compared to Vlad's block mine was nothing more than the amateur hour XD That being said i am open to any and all suggestions you would like to see in future Meet & Greet panels, or if you just prefer the dinner and not bother with a panel again.Seijin_Dinger wrote:I honestly wish that the time at the end of the meet and greet could have been used to socialize with other editors

Re: AX 2012 M&G: DINNER @7pmTHURS - PANEL @11amFRI
the panel was fun, I got to put faces to some of the videos I have seen over the years, and the contest was fun as well as the poster, just at the end I wanted to get up and mingle. That was really the only complaint I had with it (I also had to haul out afterwards to get to my shift in the exhibitors hall)

I really enjoyed the Meet and Greet panel and also would have liked some time to mingle with other editors.
Although, it's a con and it can't be helped if editors are with their groupies and said groupies want to do other things, or there are other non-amv events that the editors want to go to.
As much as I loved all of the amv related events this year, I would have liked a little socializing downtime.

I'll probably consider it next year now that you said parking was a lot cheaper.Rider4Z wrote:shoulda come to the dinnerCastor Troy wrote:As much as I loved all of the amv related events this year, I would have liked a little socializing downtime.
I had an AWFUL experience with parking last year at Little Tokyo which made me hesitant.

I think I was charged 11 last year and there were a billion cars in the structure which made it a nightmare to park.
