A Magical Girl MEP: Glowing Enchantments (COMPLETED)

Hey Everyone Hamstar here. This is my first time organizing an MEP so I hope you can bare with me on this. It's been 20 years since Sailor Moon aired as an anime. It made a stance as the anime that made magical girls popular and what they are today. So let's celebrate the 20th Sailor Moon Anniversary with all things that are Magical Girls.

The Idea

The Song is: The Glow by Shannon Saunders

I want to devote the AMV to magical girls through the ages so it doesn't matter if it's an old show or new one. The song talks of princesses, light and strength. I want this AMV to flow as smooth as possible.

When I was thinking how I'd like to to flow I came to the choice to then require minimum effects to no effects at all. Magical Girl shows tend to be beautiful in color sometimes the over-whelming effects can be too much.

For what I want the AMV to be about. You can deal with any magical girl in the show (if there are multiple). You want to embrace the character and show her sides of strength as well. I'd like you to portray how a magical girl can be strong. beautiful and graceful like a "princess". When your part finishes and begins i'd like some sort of "glowing transition" not like a bright flash. But something with a soft glow like a firefly.

The Song Parts

The Song will be split into parts and I have the times of each part when it begins and finishes. It's really first comes, first serves. So far I will only allow one part per AMV Maker. I'll take care of the beginning part of the AMV so then I can introduce the makers and such.

Part 6: 2:06 - 2:27 ~ SilverFreedoms (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica)

Part 7: 2:28 - 2:52 ~ AimoAio (Shugo Chara)

Technical Requirements

I'd like the AMV to be high quality but that doesn't mean you have to use Blue-ray. 720p if perfectly fine with me. I encourage to use all kinds of Magical Girl animes both old and new.

23.976 frame rate would be great

1280 x 720 is the size I would like as well.

Final Formats: .mov, avi, mp4

I do use a mac (I know it's bad to some people and I get lectures ). But for a final format I'd like to use .mov. You may try to use Avi or MP4 and if it'd becoming problems on my end we can try to find a way around this so it works for the final results!

I'm looking forward to working with everyone on this project. Let's work hard and try to create a Magical Girl AMV for such a great anniversary to a great anime to bring Magical Girls into anime history.

So can we use any Magical Girl show? If this is the case, you can definitely count me in. I'd love to use Cadrdcaptor Sakura with Part 5. I have the blu ray footage, so the quality should not be an issue.

Yay 1st person to join! Yes we can use ANY magical girl anime. Sailor Moon brought that genre into more popularity so let's give a gift back onto how magical girls have been so epic then! ^_^

That would be fun if people do choose those shows since they will work well with the song. Hopefully more people will be interested in this AMV. I have yet to watch Nanoha, though my friend has begged me to watch it. Also has anyone started on their part?

Sorry if this sounds dumb but what is a WAFV's cast?
