i think some of the more classical disney songs like Gaston or Prince Ali should replace a few of the covers or not as well known songs in the first half. half-way thru i started thinking to myself that it doesn't feel like a DISNEY mep like the first two did. also, can you shorten the gaps between songs so the whole thing flows a little better? i liked how you cross-faded them together like before. right now it feels like every time a track ends that it's supposed to be the end of the video. granted most of the tracks finish at the end of the song, but you can still squeeze them together quite a bit. specific example, going from Love Will Find a Way into Sanctuary: the silence is waaaaay too long. blend em together. Sanctuary doesn't have to have clean air time for those first few seconds, and Love Will Find a Way doesn't need a static shot for that long. keep the flow. don't fade to black.

i don't think you have to worry about people getting upset for cutting their tracks a bit, because it will benefit the mep as a whole. i'm sure most of us will be releasing our own tracks independently anyway.

forgot to mention, i LOVE the opening with Sword in the Stone. and following up with Life is a Highway was perfect for setting the mood.

EDIT: but again, shorten the gap. with how long the project is you don't want any dead air.

The one thing I'd mention offhand is there is a scene of Rika's dad's face [Well, most of it] in the Locomon movie that I'd suggest using somewhere in the beginning of the track. Perhaps at 0:16?

For other scenes, ask Kaz to fetch me sometime if you still need help.

Yeah, saw that scene when using the movie. I'll see about adding it~ And yesh! Thank you Daff! Finding footage appropriate for the song is proving to be difficult...any suggestions on what I could add for 1:27-1:33? I've searched for footage through amvs and have found nothing x_x

I'll start a new sequence and try your method Rider.

Probably won't have that one ready until I get a few more finals (encoding/exporting/uploading takes a hella long time for basically the same compilation I currently have), but I'll work on it soon!

Yeah, I kinda have the same complaint as Rider... ^^;

Also, another suggestion. Maybe spread the slow and love song tracks around a bit and put more fun tracks inbetween? I found it a little long listening to slow/love song after slow/love song.... ^^

i had a mini disney movie marathon last night with sword in the stone, sleeping beauty, and great mouse detective. continuing this morning with robin hood. i'm such a nerd.

EDIT: Beauty and the Beast final is up. i added the slight ching at the end of the song, you can fade the song out early if you don't want it.

DISNEY MARATHON

So being the massive Disney nerd that I am I have almost every movie that we have used. Would anyone be interested in having a full on Disney Marathon one weekend to celebrate the final Disney MEP?
