Sammy, I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to answer your question before the contest. I wear a number of hats for Animefest (really, what convention manager doesn't?), so things get crazy between the judging and the exhibition. I'll be honest - until I saw your question, I hadn't even considered releasing a list of the finalists, but that's a great idea. I will absolutey get with the other judges, and we'll look at doing so next year.

At 6pm tonight, the largest of the panel venues of animefest filled for the AMV Exhibition, and the announcement of the contest winners. The crowd loved the videos, and they went wild over category runners up and winners. Kudos to all of the video editors who entered the contest, it was a fine crop of videos, and judging them was a pleasure.

No prob I completely understand. Things get crazy and thank you for responding where a few cons have ignored any request from me when I attempt to retrieve info. I was also thinking I had missed an email or something and am happy to hear I wasn't overlooked. I like to see finalists list to see if any of my vids making personally so I can update their stats. It's good to see that One More was so well received and thank you for posting the results ^_^
