How big is the file that was uploaded? grabbing it from youtube with a firefox extension gives me a 0.97GB file.

The length plus the whole video being in 720p adds to the filesize. Still if you want to try and encode it, get in touch with ZephyrStar and maybe the two of you can work something out.
