Old News:
========
Sup all. The rules have been posted here:
http://animeusa.org/anime-music-video-contest/
And we're taking submissions. It's a new hotel, and we have a bunch of new content planned for this year!

I'll be using this thread to address questions about the AMV contest, as well as the AMV Theater in general.

When you've trolled every contest, you have my permission to die.

And no, there is not rule against trolling since this is a small con. You just can't send in something that made finals at AUSA in previous years.

One of the first contests I've seen in a while that didn't have a 6 min length cap. I will probably enter this year because of this.

Otakon hasn't had one since 2010 either. The audience just gives you hell for going over if you do ;) AUSA actually has a pretty strong tradition of giving 1st place awards to long-ass videos, which is surprising since both cons are audience-voted.

Well, provided I don't retire this video by Ota next year I can look into sending it in there as well.

I am trying to submit a video over the FTP and I can connect but when I try to upload it keeps giving me an error of "Critical file transfer error after transferring 262,144 bytes in 1 second" I am using the same FTP account that I used for Otakon if that means anything.
