I had surgery to remove a rather huge tumor (19+cm and about 20lbs) and a couple smaller tumors from my belly.. I probably won't post the details on here, but lets just say I'm doing way better now. oh and not cancer.

Hmm... 20 pounds? I think your username has finally caught up with you, Old Man. They stole your symbiont!

In seriousness, though, I can't even imagine that kind of scariness, and I'm relieved to hear you're healing up. Best wishes and godspeed on your continued recovery.

Memory for the server finally came in. Only have 40gb instead of the planned 48 due to the way the slots came populated, but I can work with that. All the VM's now have adequate memory to run at peak performance. I also figured out the long-standing issue with our backups and they're re-seeding overnight, giving us our safety net back.

Today was a good day.
