This vid was a surprise to me on how visually slick it looked and progressed. Huge props for your composition skills, you guys are beasts at lighting/color correction.

I also agree that Metamorphose was a better for me due to it being a more artistic/abstract vid, but in it's own merit this video does things Metamorphose doesn't in amazing ways as well.

Anyways...amazing work on the vid. I'm still not a huge fan of crossovers, but when they are done this well it's too hard for me to not like them.

I wouldn't say so, I've spoken with some people who had the same reaction. I think it all depends on your perception of the video by that point. I was too lost in the imagery by that point to get pulled out by that scene in particular, but other's aren't pulled in enough and just see it differently.

This was great. You've created something new from different sources in a pretty original way (well, the way of your style). This is something that we've already seen in Metamorphose, but more focused on the story and on the interaction between the characters in the same scenes. I actually really liked it, the mood was great and, despite the story isn't that original, it was pleasant to watch and without any doubts in the understanding of it (well, you've made all very obvious that would have been hard the contrary). If I have to find some defects, there are scenes with some smears where the compositing wasn't that great (compared to other scenes), but overall you've still done an outstanding job.
Keep the good work, this year is yours.

I agree with you. I too, prefer non-linear stories, avoiding stereotypes (as in Traumerei), but for this video Zevs and me decided to go for a simple, easily understandable plot. "Why?" you may ask. Well, I just wanted to show how life sometimes turns out. How frequent traffic accidents ruin many lives. And how many relationships break, not being able to cope with the aftermath. In our video though, I wanted to show those few that can.

I liked it, can see that a lot of effort went into it. Although have seen this kind of story played out quite a few times and thus could tell where it was going and wasn't fully wowed by this as I would have a few years ago. Honestly was thinking it was going to end on a truly depressing note and that would have satisfied me immensely if that was the case. Amazing scene selection, composition and lighting though.
