Well, I figured that much out, I'm just disappointed by the noise at such a low ISO.Pwolf wrote:yea... it's a T1i.

It's a T1i, what the hell did you expect? It's not a 7D or a 5D mkii.DJ_Izumi wrote:Well, I figured that much out, I'm just disappointed by the noise at such a low ISO.Pwolf wrote:yea... it's a T1i.

I just didn't expect it to be so noticably poor in comparison to my T2i or T4i.Pwolf wrote:It's a T1i, what the hell did you expect? It's not a 7D or a 5D mkii.

Re: Anyone into photography?
The T1i has a worse sensor then both of those, why are you surprised? That said, the ISO performance isn't that bad compared to other cameras in it's generation/price range.

I really, really honestly, (really) don't get the whining about noise, in DSLR and in pro video cameras these days. I think noise is gorgeous. It's fantastic. It adds character, it's more filmic, and it's endearing to the subject. It's real. I can't see the noise. I can't feel it.

Yes. We know you know everything about DSLR cameras and filmmaking. Stop pointing it out to us lower class beings.DJ_Izumi wrote:I just didn't expect it to be so noticably poor in comparison to my T2i or T4i.Pwolf wrote:It's a T1i, what the hell did you expect? It's not a 7D or a 5D mkii.

Re: Anyone into photography?
Actually, it's not that at all, infact I know Squat about Nikon's offerings. It's more that the increase in ISO performance between the T2i, T3i is none existent and with the T4i it's a marginal improvement. I didn't expect the T1i, just one notch lower than the T2i, to be much more noticable.Castor Troy wrote:Yes. We know you know everything about DSLR cameras and filmmaking. And what's the fun of a photography thread if you can't discuss equiptment used?
