Personal opinion, the equipment isn't all that important (at least the camera isn't). This is photography, not the next iPhone. Bringing up such specs is completely irrelevant IMO and distracts from the nature of the thread. That said, I used a beauty dish for the two pictures. If you are interested in knowing more about that, I will happily discuss that here.DJ_Izumi wrote:And what's the fun of a photography thread if you can't discuss equipment used?

Re: Anyone into photography?
This is me posing with a Red Epic with my own Canon 50mm f/1.8 II prime lens attached. The camera costs $50 000-$75 000 depending on accessories, the lens is $129.99.
In short, monsterious 5K (5120x2700) digital cinema camera with a Fisher-Price lens attached. I find combination endlessly hilarious. Also, it makes my little Rebel DSLRs look like toys.

Re: Anyone into photography?
Some information about the photo in question is always nice, but plz leave camera specs etc. out of the picture
Shimbashi Tokyo, Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AI
Bought the lens because I need the training and it was quite cheap.
Might upgrade to the new AF version when I get tired of porly exposed photos becuse I it is quite nice.

Makes me wonder if there's a bird or a mouse in the bushes there, lol.
One of these days I'll go back to taking pictures of squirrels.

Aww, but it could be that she has nothing to stalk, so at least there's pigeons O:

Re: Anyone into photography?
Batch of cat pictures incoming!
She was being a bit silly one night so I decided to try and get some shots while she was hiding under the coffee table.
She was sleeping and I wanted to get a picture of her, obviously...
A storm was rolling though a few weeks ago and she was looking out the window
Yeap.
