For that price you might as well get the much more highly rated Philips-made adapter. It doesn't really matter if it doesn't specifically say 'iPod', because it just takes the output through the headphone jack. I play my Ipod through there with with a small cable that goes from the ipod into the ipod holder... and then I put my radio on a certain channel (88.1, I'm in Canada though so dunno what would work for you) and it plays in my car just fine.
