Nice Guys Finish Last... T or F

How do you feel about the saying "Nice Guys Finish Last"? Do you think it applicts well to life, or it isn't true at all? Or how about something like, "the more people you try to make happy, the less that end up happy..." Don't worry about being thought of as pessimitic or optimistic, just go with your heart...

I'm guessing so. So I'll answer. ^_^
Hate is something I don't like. And hate is so strong. Normally once I understand something, I don't hate it anymore. Because I can normally relate. If there's anything I hate, it may be myself sometimes, but we don't need to get into that. lol

Anger is something else I don't like. I find it's something that is used when the situation is not undertsood. Something like a temperary solution.

So anyways, Anger and Hate do exist in my life, they just don't come out and okay very often.

I disagree with your descriptions of hate and anger. And I believe anger to be a healthy emotion, whilst hate to be a bitter emotion.

And False, you finish last if you're lazy or cockup. Not whether you're nice or not.

Depends on what last is.
If last is an economic/ corporate issue then nice guys do finish last.
If last is a moral/ ethical issue then nice guys will be on top.
If last is a happiness based issue (which is how I feel) then it all depends on what you find fulfilling and then relate back to the oither issues and which category you fit into and therefore whether or not you should be nice or not.
For my happiness I try to fulfil the second category and therefore feel that I should be nice.

I just mean in life. No specific part of life. You can choose whatever you think is the most important to you...
