THEME:

In the spirit of the original CascadaThon, I've decided to keep the theme the same as it was then!

Up-lifting/Action/Drama/Romance/Dance

However, I would love to avoid the fiasco that was all the varying editing styles with no central theme throughout, as everyone kinda did their own thing. So, lets add one more touch to make this refreshing!

So, the central theme that should be in everyone's tracks is: The Struggle. Meaning, the dedication it takes to push forward despite the hard times even though it feels as though you should give up. You MUSTER that courage and wade your way through the depression and hate, the sorrow and madness to find that inner peace and happiness.

This of course goes really well for romantic animes, such as Clannad, Air and Kanon '06. This is especially true for action oriented anime's. I shouldn't have to name those as everyone knows what action is.

WE ARE ALSO GONNA AIM FOR ANOTHER AAC PREMIERE AGAIN! SO LET'S TRY TO MAKE THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES WHEN AAC GETS CLOSER TO US THIS YEAR. IF WE CAN'T PREMIERE AT AAC AGAIN DUE TO DEADLINE ISSUES, THEN WE CAN ALWAYS PICK ANOTHER CON!

Resolution: 848x480
FPS: 29.97

Be sure to add 2 seconds of footage before and after your tracks for transitioning purposes! After your track has been approved to be FINAL, then send your FINAL encode to Code. I'm not sure what file type he preferes for FINALS, so ask him, as he is once again gonna compile!

Anime Resrtictions:

Same as the other CascadaThons! Nothing old. This means nothing by Studio Gibli. No Sailor Moon as it is a REALLY outdated source. Only newer anime, please. Everything else, is fair game. NO CG!

Also, No gore or over the top violence. This is CascadaThon after all.

OTHER RULES AND REITERATIONS:

1. First things first. No Drama. I want none of it here.

2. I expect everyone involved to keep everyone posted on their current status. Be it a little or a lot.

3. When a due date is given, be it for a beta or a final. I expect it to be followed. Unless of course there is something that is going to keep you from making the deadline. In which case, state beforehand and we can work something out.

4. Multi Anime tracks ARE allowed.

5. Please allow 2 seconds of footage before and after each of your tracks for transitioning purposes. Make sure the footage you allow is easily transitionable to the next track.

6. Only High Quality beta's will be allowed for turn in. nothing else will be accepted.

7. Please be respectful of everyone involved in the MEP. Offer advice when asked or when a beta is turned in for review. In which case everyone will be expected to give their opinion on each beta turn in.

8. I ask that anime only be used. No video games or CG movies.

9. No WaterMarks, Logo's or Subtitles.

10. Obey The Candy Whip.

Dont' worry. This is going to be the last CascadaThon. Nothing more after this one if this one get's underway.

ANd yes. Ready for love is in there. It's got all the songs from the original CascadaThon. Just remixed.

One of the transitions still needs to be fixed. But i'll fix it before I put out wavs if this gets enough interest.

I'll put it this way.......Auto-Tune sounds really good on Cascada, lol. It's only in one of the remixes though, and it's really tastefully done.

SInce the is a re-invisioning of the first CascadaThon and is essentially a new MEP, no. No restriction other than the no old anime rule. But do try to keep repetition to a minimum.

i wanted to try out but i cant say i like the mix, i think the best mix was the first.
