Clearly enough not to do anything stupid atleast. When I was really drunk...well I dont want to talk about it, but lets just say my ability to tell the difference between "what is smart" and "what is a really retarded thing to do" wasnt quite working that well.
Yeah. Pretty much to the point! It really is so that alcohol makes you do more dangerous, and more "retarded" things. But when on weed, everything you do is just philosoph' about things, and chillin on the chouch... well that's what I do ^_^
I still would reccomend driving high, a recent study to show how weed impares driving ability, only ended up showing people who were high drove better(remember, the test was out to prove the opposite) Still though, dont drive stoned.
True. I once drove home from a prom at about 5 or 6 in the morning, still drunk from a heavy night (it was my graduation prom) and it was fucking bad! I couldn't see cleary, and tended to drive faster than normal. When on weed though, you tend to drive slower, because everthing around you is naturally going faster, and you know you're high and don't want any stress...
Also, contrary to what someone said above, weed is NOT physically addicting. Any addiction is mental, and for most people its not that bad. For example, when you quit smoking, you have to quit, forever. You cant go back to smoking once a week. If you do, youll just end up starting again. With weed though, I know lots of people who used to smoke a lot, but now keep it down to like once a month without difficulty. Are there people couldnt do that? Yeah, but there are people who can become addicted to anything. Its the person not the drug. You cant revolve laws around the lowest common denomitator, or no one will have any freedom.
Exactly what I said. What I think is the main problem, one of the few fundaments of democracy is and has always been, if you do something that doesn't harm another one, you are allowed to do it. So when you smoke weed, you don't harm anyone or anything. Well, maybe your lung but that's with smoking, not with weed. So the politicans don't allow the people to do things to their very own. What I try to say is, hell, NOBODY gets harmed by weed, and if somebody likes to smoke pot every day, who are we to say he shouldn't?
And another 2 cents from me: I used to smoke pot my last 2 years at school (no, I smoked at home ^_^), and in my year of graduation, I had the best grades EVAR! So, why shouldn't I smoke? I don't drink alcohol, but not because I think it is evil, just because I don't like the "style" of it.
