I kinda don't understand how any con would allow live streaming for something like an AMV room. Streaming anything live over the internet is a broadcast. There's not really anything to cover that in the same blanket sense that ASCAP stuff gives you for performance rights at the event. Even non-paranoid con lawyers would raise concerns over that. And, to put it in perspective, SakuraCon has gone so far as banning threads on their forums having to do with ride or room shares because of liability concerns. That should tell you where they are on that scale.

An in general, the bigger the con, the higherr the liabilites become Sadly. There are a few minor things we can't do that I woudl be able to get away with at a smaller con in the AMV Room, but Bashar's right, I don't think they woudl ever agree to streaming.
