Everthing went great, the contest seem to run real well and everyone enjoyed it

The highlight of the event was the live phone call I made to Ilea (our big winner) at the AMV Awards Ceremony! The room was packed and everyone screamed!

The highlights for me: 1) Finishing the recaps on time, and 2) Getting proper 16:9 on that 2.40:1 LED video wall. (Long story, all irrelevant behind-the-scenes stuff).

And 3) Treasuring the hard work by entrants and staff (as always), and the joy of the attendees and winners makes it all worth it. Congrats and kudos to all.

As the guy who did the lettering on the movie clapperboards this year, I would like to thank the Ileia for having a really short name, it saved me a lot of time.

The Best In Show trophies are huge.

Posting from the train going back to the airport. Apparently a car decided to puck a fight with another train farther up the track. Seriously was a great contest and a great con, but I can't wait to crash... In about 13 more hours.
