That my hair is so thick, I just snapped a bobby pin in half. Overdue for a thinning, I'd say. >_>

That my English professor had to check with /me/ to confirm if something was or wasn't a real word. XD

I have a habit of smiling or greeting passersby and this is an unspoken no-no in Chicago. You're not even supposed to make eye contact. But this morning on my way to class, I had someone return a greeting! It was just a smile and a "Good morning!", but it totally made my morning good.

Re: Little Things You Love
That was something I had to get used to when I stayed a few months on Louisiana so many people waving to me... O.o it freaked me out, strangers talking to me!!
In California (where I grew up) no one talks to you if they don't know you or aren't in a "convention" type setting... In Texas where I was for 5 years it was a little of both, but a lot of people were from "everywhere else" so I don't know what it was like there. Here (Idaho) is a little of both, some people say hi, some don't... lots of Californians moved here though...
I've just gotten used to saying hi back, and maybe smiling a bit because I think it's rude if I don't. O.o
