Oh new opening... To me, it's okay I didn't really like the first one much either. The ending is pretty cool.

Oh now this is going to get interesting, seems like Eren has new friends.

After watching ep14, I went to see Pacific Rim, in which the governments of the world have to decide between building defensive walls to keep monsters out, or using the giant Jaegers to fight them. (Also learned that jaeger=hunter in German)

Jaegers kill titans. That's just the natural order of things. The ultimate irony is that Eren fights inside a Titan to kill titans while in the movie, humans build mechanical titans to kill titans, so Eren Jaeger can be seen as controlling A Jaeger to kill titans.

I think the only qualm I have about AoT shipping/slashing is that on tumblr there seems to be more Levi in the Hanji tag than there is Hanji.

I don't spoil myself yet, so I'm lucky too xD
But I have a suspect, that Armored Titan seems like one
of the main characters. It's so fun to watch this without spoilers
and suspecting about what will happen next!
