The Video Art Track at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2013 VAT AWA

From the Anime Weekend Atlanta Newsletter, here is the latest on Anime Weekend Atlanta's music video contests for 2013.

This year is a Masters year. In addition to The Masters requiring new submissions exclusive to Anime Weekend Atlanta, this will also be the case for The Professional Awards. All entries to both contests must be completely new submissions, never distributed online nor submitted to any other contest. We will also be holding our first ever Invitational. We'll be asking many of your favorite editors from years past to submit a new video for a special exhibition during Anime Weekend Atlanta. If there is an editor from days of yore you'd like us to be sure to invite, feel free to send Jingoro a PM here.

We are also planning, in cooperation with the AMV Editors' Dinner, a special editors-only event on Thursday night. Featuring the AMV Celebrity Roast and other entertainment created specifically for AMV editors. Did you catch that? If you want to be in the in crowd in The VAT, you'll have to start planning to arrive on Thursday afternoon!

This is just a bump... I heard some folks were having trouble finding this, this year's thread, because "AWA" wasn't in the subject... so I fixed that! Hopefully we can start hearing some real chatter here!

Shit, I'm doing it wrong, my flight lands at 10AM on Thursday (btw - anyone want to pick me up from the airport...)

Your flight lands in the VAT? That's what I call non-stop! Seriously, this is Atlanta, you'll be lucky to get to the VAT by 3pm.
