This was my entry for Round 3 of The Quickening. :3

This round in particular was difficult for me. I was getting irritated when people kept saying the song was easy, or I should just use Shounen and to 'just edit' which is easier said than done. After thinking about it for about a day, I just thought, that instead of doing what people said I should do, I'll use an anime I had a lot of fun using in the past. For me, I just edit for the fun and even if it was a contest I honestly didn't care about winning. This round, I just wanted to show that you can take a serious song and just show a more upbeat side to it without using Shounen. I may have also wanted to prove people wrong. :uhoh:

You know, despite not using a shounen anime, you came pretty close in matching the sort of expectations I had for this song. :P I was a little iffy on a few of the scenes (you know which ones already) since they didn't quite carry the mood across very well (basically lacked impact) but the general feel was pretty spot on for what I envision for this type of song and the effects/colouring were really well done too! I really liked it! Great job cheesy! :up:

Didn't agree with a scene or two in the chorus, but can't say much since I would never edit to that song. Ever. D: that being said, prolly if I had to, it'd come out really crappy :uhoh:
