The discussion has be held countless times... you can probably read the outcome if you search up the forums. The originated in Japan rule is here to stay, because the site is about anime music videos, not animation music videos in general. The definition of what constitutes anime is already pretty blurry and in grey ares we're lenient, but in the case of avatar there is no doubt.Is there no way for an agreement on that?
Still, you are free to announce these and other videos (even LAMVs) in the General Discussion section, but they don't belong in the on-site catalog.
