Dunkin' Donuts - RAWdangers {AniMinneapolis Action Winner}

So I'm finally getting around to releasing my newest video. I'll copy pasta my description from its Org page and Youtube page since I'm sure anyone who watches this will go straight to the preview or download first x'D I'm working on a poster for it, but I'm having to create my own font so it'll be a little bit till that is released. "Alright so this was originally my video made for the Otakon Action category, but sadly it didn't make it =( oh well xP I've entered it other places. It won action at AniMinneapolis, and its a finalist at Animethon.
The Orginal name of this amv was supposed to be "Dunkin Mechas to Dubstep" but a certain derp, summer *cough*, couldn't remember the name and called it my "Dunkin Donuts" video, and thus the name of this amv was born.
So yeah, I've really wanted to edit an AMV with Basquash because I really love the anime and it has really beautiful animation and then i found this song and I knew what I was gonna do. I think that it is one of the most underrated animes ever and if you ever get the chance, I strongly recommend that you watch it! Anyways, I'll just leave you guys with that."

You have some really smooth flow there, Tommy. I'm not sure the song was a great choice though, there's a not a great deal of variation to it, so the amv itself only has two tones, more storytelling/context would have also helped. It's still a fun watch, and a very strange looking series.

This anime looks so awesome, robots + basketball? ME LIKE!

Anyway I really liked the sync, story-wise I'm not 100% sure what's going on except they're having some intense basketball match and the characters all seem to have some sort of tragic dramatic past that leads them to playing basketball for one reason or another, but that's not really clearly shown (and there's also too many characters which makes it's hard to try and link with all of them) so it's a bit weak on that aspect and I would have preferred you stuck with just maybe 3-4 main characters and focus more on them instead. The buildup at 2:44-2:48 also lacked a little impact, like it doesn't feel intense enough for that part of the song? 2:59 was also a moment that stuck out to me since the rest of the AMV has super awsm sync and then 2:59 just felt kind lazy. I don't mean the sword swing, that part was epic but the impact where the sword clashes is sorta...plain in comparison and doesn't really do your sync any justice.

That being said, it was most certainly a pretty unique and awesomely edited video. I really liked it. Good work Tommy!
